MESOPOTAMIA LODGE DEER PARK is located half way between Sydney and the Gold Coast just 7 km, or seven minutes, from town and the Pacific Highway.  Set on 207 lovely undulating acres of farmland Mesopotamia Lodge has two levels of accommodation –

DELUXE SPA APARTMENT:  An air conditioned self contained three room apartment with a two person spa, queen bed, linen supplied, TV, DVD, leather recliners, ceiling fan, electric blanket, your own verandah and lots of peace and tranquility.  Internet access is available.

BASIC NIGHTLY PRICE – from $160 - $180 double $110 - $130 single includes afternoon tea on arrival, bowl of fruit and Continental breakfasts with freshly baked bread.

ROMANTIC WEEKEND FOR 2 - $485.00 includes 2 night’s accommodation, afternoon tea on arrival, bottle of local wine, bowl of fruit, chocolate truffles, fluffy bath robes, 3 course dinners, full cooked breakfasts, daily room service.

IN-HOUSE: - traditional bed and breakfast - $100 double, $80 single, $25 children 5 – 16, children under 5 free if sharing with parents – use of all facilities, living area air conditioned, leather lounge, TV, DVD, Stereo, ceiling fans, electric blankets, linen supplied, wood fire for cozy winter nights, full cooked breakfasts, tea and coffee.  Internet access is available.  Share bathroom if other guests staying.

BOUTIQUE CARAVAN SITES:  $25 per night.  Unique farmland location catering for just a few caravans – power, hot water, shower and three toilets – large undercover picnic area – BBQ – afternoon tea on arrival.  Far away from the crowds and traffic with lots of space to park your boat.
The property is fully fenced and parking is secure and some undercover.  The property features a wetland that abounds with bird life as well as a large bird breeding complex housing lots of lovely finches and parrots.  More than 50 different varieties of wild birds regularly visit Mesopotamia Lodge including the Jabiru (Australia’s only Stork), Black Swans (who raise their young here every year), Pelicans, Night Herons, Tawny Frogmouths, White Breasted Sea Eagle, Pardalote and Mistletoe Bird to name just a few.  Kangaroos and wallabies often visit the farm.
We are only minutes from the beautiful Macleay River where Australian Bass are caught between October and April and just a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia at South West Rocks, Hat Head and Crescent Head where you can fish for Blackfish, Bream, Whiting, Tailor, Mullet, Flathead, Jewfish and lots more.  You may like to canoe down the river, visit local wineries including the boutique Dangars Creek Winery opposite Mesopotamia Lodge, go horse riding, scuba diving, or on a fishing charter, swim in invigorating mountain streams, walk through forests and national parks, visit museums, potteries, Wigay Aboriginal Culture Park, art galleries, antique shops, lookouts, lighthouse or just relax and enjoy a good book.
